JIUQUAN, CHINA — March 30, 2026 — CAS Space is incredibly proud to announce the successful inaugural flight of our next-generation commercial launch vehicle, the Kinetica-2. Lifting off today from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Testing Area at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center (JSLC), the Kinetica-2 Y1 mission—designated "The Global Capital of Textile"—flawlessly delivered the New March 01 Technology Demonstration Satellite, the New March 02 Satellite, and TS 01 Educational Satellite into their target orbits. “The Global Capital of Textile” is a nod to the soon-to-be-commissioned Kinetica-2 Superfactory located at Keqiao, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province.

As the newest and most advanced addition to our Kinetica family of commercial space launch solutions, the Kinetica-2 is engineered around an innovative Common Booster Core (CBC) architecture. By utilizing universally compatible, standardized booster cores—each measuring 3.35 meters in diameter—we have created a highly scalable platform.
Key specifications for today’s maiden flight vehicle include:
· Dimensions: 53 meters in overall height, equipped with a spacious 4.2-meter payload fairing.
· Mass & Thrust: A take-off mass of 625 metric tons and a powerful lift-off thrust of 753 metric tons.
· Payload Capacity: Capable of delivering 8 metric tons to a 500 km Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO) or 12 metric tons to a 200 km Low Earth Orbit (LEO).

Kinetica-2 will serve as a premier, heavy-duty commercial launch solution. It is built to support the industry's most critical missions, from low-cost space cargo transportation and the rapid deployment of LEO megaconstellations to the launch of vital carbon-emission monitoring satellites.
Built with modular compatibility in mind, the Kinetica-2’s first stage can be dynamically configured with zero, two, or four strap-on common boosters, allowing us to easily scale LEO payload capacity from 2 up to 20 metric tons to meet our clients’ needs. Furthermore, when paired with our Kinastra-1 kick stage, the Kinetica-2 is fully equipped to execute high-energy missions to Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) and Geostationary Orbit (GEO). More news on Kinastra-1 will be announced later this year.

Reusability and Lowering Launch Costs
Driving down the cost of access to space remains a central pillar of the CAS Space mission. To achieve this, our space pros are actively advancing an integrated, bundled booster recovery scheme that will enable the reuse of all Kinetica-2 first-stage boosters.
Additionally, our versatile CBC design drastically reduces the complexity and number of inter-stage mechanisms. To further streamline launch operations for our customers, we have implemented a "one-stop" ground preparation solution, utilizing a common workshop facility that seamlessly integrates launch vehicle assembly with payload preparation.

The Kinetica-2 Superfactory
To meet the surging global demand for reliable commercial launch services, the CAS Space Kinetica-2 Superfactory will soon begin operations. Located in Keqiao, Shaoxing (Zhejiang Province), this state-of-the-art manufacturing hub will possess an annual production capacity of 12 Kinetica-2-class liquid-propellant rockets. This facility represents our commitment to mass production and ensuring routine, high-frequency flight cadences for our partners.
